Billericay Step

Billericay Step gathers on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House on School Road in Billericay, and runs for an hour and a half. The meeting takes AA's Twelve Steps as its backbone, studying the programme steadily with members sharing how each step has worked in practice; it is the sort of meeting where the nuts and bolts of recovery get talked about plainly. It is open, so as well as anyone with a desire to stop drinking, family, friends and professionals are welcome to attend. The Meeting House is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking; arriving shortly before 7.30pm on the night is all that is needed.
