Belfast also has a Saturday afternoon Gamblers Anonymous meeting, starting at 3pm and running for two hours at St Luke's Church Hall on Twinbrook Road in Dunmurry. It's an open meeting, so anyone affected by gambling can attend, whether that's someone with a desire to stop gambling themselves or a partner, parent or friend wanting to understand more. Members work through the twelve steps and share their own experience in confidence, without judgement. There's no cost to attend and no need to book a place in advance; just arrive a few minutes before three and ask for the group. With two hours set aside, there's ample time for both newcomers and long-standing members to take part.
