Newcomers are specifically catered for on Thursdays, when the Lisburn Road Group runs a Beginner-focused meeting at 8pm at 62 Lisburn Road in south Belfast. It is an open meeting, so anyone can attend alongside those new to Alcoholics Anonymous, including family and friends wanting to understand more. The session runs for around 90 minutes, in keeping with most of the group's evening meetings, at a venue the group describes as fully accessible. There is nothing to pay and no need to register beforehand, you can simply turn up. Anyone unable to attend in person can request a Zoom link by emailing the group in advance.
