Belfast Friday Night (Formerly Lisburn Road)

Now known as Belfast Friday Night rather than its former Lisburn Road name, this Al-Anon Family Groups meeting is held in the Jim Boyle Room at Fisherwick Presbyterian Church Office, Chlorine Gardens, starting at 8pm and lasting around an hour and a half. Al-Anon supports anyone whose life has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether as a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, with the focus kept on the person attending. Being an open meeting, newcomers and visitors are welcome without needing any prior connection to Al-Anon, and there is no obligation to speak. Regulars who knew the group as Lisburn Road should note it now meets at Chlorine Gardens instead, though the Friday evening slot has stayed the same.
