The Format of the Meeting Alternates Reading from the Basic Text Book and Experience, Strength & Hope Chair.
Basic Text Book Study meets on Wednesday evenings from 7pm at the Garden Room in St Mary's Church Community Centre, reached across the garden behind Dansk Flowers on Upper Street, Islington, and not through the main church. The hour-long session alternates weekly between reading from the Basic Text and an Experience, Strength and Hope chair. It is an open meeting, so anyone can attend alongside those with a desire to stop using drugs, and children are welcome. Pets are also welcome here, which is worth knowing if that matters to you. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
