Ballyheigue

A second Ballyheigue meeting is held on Sunday at midday, again at the Kerryhead / Ballyheigue Family Resource Centre on Sraid Thaidgh, Co. Kerry, with the session given over to Step work. Like the Friday meeting run by the same group, it is kept for AA members with a desire to stop drinking rather than being open to the wider public. There is no charge and no booking process, so people typically arrive a few minutes before noon. The format follows the familiar Alcoholics Anonymous pattern, with sharing oriented around the Steps rather than general topics. Wheelchair access at the centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs should ask the group in advance.
