Ballybunion

On Saturdays, Ballybunion holds a second closed AA meeting at 8pm, again at St Joseph's Secondary School on Doon Road, Co. Kerry, reached through the upper car park. Unlike the Monday session, this meeting does not follow a set Steps format, so it tends to be general sharing among members. It remains closed, meaning it is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than for visiting family or professionals. Having both a Monday and Saturday meeting gives Ballybunion two fixed points either side of the week. There is no charge and nothing to book in advance, so anyone eligible can simply arrive at the upper car park before 8pm.
