Getting there
About this meeting
This Wednesday AA meeting, named after Balham, meets online at 7am UK and Ireland time for anyone who wants to stop drinking. Running online means you can join from home, work or anywhere else with a signal.
We keep the link and passcode off this page, pointing instead to Alcoholics Anonymous's own listing, linked here. It's sensible to check that listing shortly before 7am, since details can be updated from week to week. Nobody needs advance notice that you're coming, and there's no fee involved.
Common questions
How do I join this meeting?
Follow the link on this page to Alcoholics Anonymous's own listing, which has the current joining details. Groups sometimes change their links, so it's worth checking shortly before 7am.
Do I have to speak or turn my camera on?
No. Nobody has to share, and plenty of people spend their first few meetings just listening. If the group has its own guidance on cameras, that will be on its own listing.
Is this meeting only for people from Balham?
No. It takes its name from Balham, but because it runs online, anyone who wants to stop drinking can join from wherever they are.
