Every Friday at 8pm, the Ayr meeting is held at 8 Green Street Lane, one of several weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings that use this town centre venue. This is a closed meeting, kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends or professionals attending in a supporting role. Friday evening gives members in Ayr a chance to close out the week with a meeting before the weekend. No booking or payment is needed. Turning up shortly before the start time is all that is required. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue, so anyone who needs step-free entry should check with the group in advance rather than assume access is available.
