Armagh Methodist Church Hall on Abbey Street is the venue for a weekly Al-Anon Family Groups meeting in Armagh, held every Monday at 8.30pm. Al-Anon is not for people who drink themselves; it is for those around them, partners, parents, adult children and friends, who are affected by someone else's drinking. It is an open meeting, so anyone in that situation can attend without an introduction, and the person whose drinking has affected you does not need to be there, or to have agreed to anything. The meeting runs for two hours, longer than many Al-Anon meetings, giving room for a fuller share and discussion. It is free to attend, with no booking required, every Monday evening.
