Altrincham

Altrincham's Sunday evening Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place at Altrincham Methodist Church on Barrington Road, starting at 7.30pm and lasting an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, which means anyone may attend: people who want to stop drinking, of course, but also family members, friends, students and professionals who would like to see how AA works at first hand. There is no charge and no need to book; meetings are self-supporting through voluntary contributions, and newcomers are not expected to put anything in. The church is wheelchair accessible. If this would be your first meeting, arriving five or ten minutes early is a good idea, and you will not be asked to speak unless you want to.
