Plenty of parking. Email: [email protected]
Althorne Feelings meets on Fridays at 6pm at St Andrews Church Hall in the village of Althorne, out towards the Dengie peninsula east of Chelmsford, and lasts an hour and a half. As a feelings meeting, the sharing leans towards honest talk about what is actually going on for people, not just what they did about it, which many find is where the real work happens. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so family, friends and professionals are welcome alongside anyone with a desire to stop drinking. There is plenty of parking at the hall, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. A chit system operates for court, probation or treatment attendance slips. It is free, with no booking needed.
