The Alexandria meeting, held on Tuesdays at 8pm, is a closed AA meeting based in Alexandria. It runs at Christie Park Veterans Club. Closed meetings like this one are kept to people with a desire to stop drinking, so it differs from an open meeting where family and friends can also sit in. Expect the session to last roughly an hour and a half. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue. Anyone eligible can turn up on the night; it is free and booking is not required. It is one of several Alcoholics Anonymous meetings running across Alexandria and the surrounding area each week.
