About this meeting

The Big Book Comes Alive is a Wednesday evening Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Alderley Edge, held in the St Pius Parish Room on Stamford Road from 7pm and running for an hour and a half. As the name suggests, the group works with AA's core text, the Big Book, relating what is on the page to members' everyday experience of staying sober. It is an open meeting, so you are welcome whether you are concerned about your own drinking or supporting a partner, friend or family member; professionals and anyone curious about how AA works may also sit in. The Parish Room is wheelchair accessible, and there is nothing to book or pay. Arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a seat and say hello.
