ACA Norwich – Strengthening My Recovery

ACA Norwich: Strengthening My Recovery meets every Thursday at 6.30pm at Carrow House. The fellowship is for adults whose formative years were affected by a parent's drinking or by wider family dysfunction, and its programme centres on healing from that childhood experience rather than on stopping a present-day behaviour. Since it is an open meeting, nobody is turned away - friends, partners and professionals attend alongside those who identify as adult children. As its name suggests, the group focuses on building and sustaining recovery over time, alongside the general sharing found in ACA meetings. There's no fee and no need to contact anyone in advance; anyone interested can simply walk in shortly before the meeting starts.
