Ponteland

Serving the village of Ponteland, north-west of Newcastle upon Tyne, this AA group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.45pm in St Mary's Church Hall on Thornhill Road. The meeting runs for an hour and a quarter, finishing at 9pm. It is an open meeting, which means the door is open to everyone: people with a desire to stop drinking, family members and friends who are worried about someone, and professionals who want to see AA at first hand. The hall is wheelchair accessible. As with every AA meeting there is no charge, no membership fee and no booking system; you simply turn up, and arriving a few minutes early gives you time to say hello and find a seat.
