Newport Topic & Share meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.15pm at The Chapel, in the grounds of St Woolos Hospital in Newport, South Wales. Each week a topic is chosen and members share their experience around it, which keeps the hour varied and gives newcomers a feel for many sides of recovery rather than one fixed text. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome to attend, including family members, friends and professionals as well as people with a desire to stop drinking. The Chapel has wheelchair access. There is no cost and no booking or referral; you can simply walk in a few minutes before the start and take a seat.
