Preston Oczekiwanie Polish Speaking

Oczekiwanie — 'anticipation' in Polish — is Preston's Polish-speaking Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, held every Sunday at 7pm at St Maria Goretti Presbytery on Gamull Lane, Ribbleton. The meeting is conducted in Polish, serving the substantial Polish community across Preston and central Lancashire; recovery lands differently in your mother tongue, and for many members this room is where AA finally made sense. It is an open meeting lasting one hour, so anyone may attend, including family members. A second Polish-speaking meeting, Tu I Teraz, meets on Saturdays across town at Ashton Methodist Church.
