Woodford St Andrew’s

Woodford St Andrew's meets every Friday evening at 7.30pm at St Andrew's Church, 56 Chingford Lane in Woodford, and runs for an hour and a half. It is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which does not mean the doors are locked; it simply means the meeting is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking, giving members space to speak freely among others who understand. If you are wondering whether your drinking is worth looking at, you already qualify and will be made welcome. The church is wheelchair accessible. Like all AA meetings, it is free to attend, there is nothing to sign up for in advance, and you can just turn up on the night.
