Share meeting with Guest Speaker. Welcome people in their early days.
St Neots Primary Purpose meets on Wednesdays at 8pm in St Mary's Church Hall on Great North Road in Eaton Socon, St Neots. This is a share meeting with a guest speaker each week, and the group makes a particular point of welcoming people in their early days of sobriety, so being new is no reason to hang back; it is rather the point. Lasting an hour and a quarter, it is a closed meeting, which in AA terms simply means it is kept for people who have, or wonder whether they have, a desire to stop drinking. Newcomers need no invitation, referral or booking, and the hall is wheelchair accessible. Attendance, as at every AA meeting, is completely free.
Is this meeting suitable for someone very new to recovery?
