Bus Routes: 575 Travel Comment: The venue is a mile from the station.
This Narcotics Anonymous meeting runs every Friday evening in Horwich, on the western edge of Bolton, gathering in the Main Hall at Brazley Community Centre on Cedar Avenue. Doors open for a 7pm start and the meeting lasts around an hour and forty minutes. The format changes week to week, moving between literature study, speaker shares, topic discussion, and questions and answers, so there's a good mix over the course of a month. It's an open meeting, which means anyone is welcome to come along. The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you're travelling by bus, the 575 stops nearby; note the centre is about a mile from the railway station, so allow time for the walk if arriving by train.
Can I come along if I'm not sure I belong here yet?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, including people who are still working things out, as well as family, friends and professionals. NA is for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, and you're welcome whether you're brand new or just curious.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a basket is passed round for those who wish to give, but you never have to put anything in, especially as a newcomer.
