No meetings on Bank Holidays.
Come and Go is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Wythenshawe Forum Library, held on Thursdays at 1.30pm in Room 1 on the first floor of the Civic Centre building. Because it is open, anyone may attend: people worried about their own drinking, family and friends wanting to understand what AA is, and professionals who work with them. The meeting runs for ninety minutes and the library is wheelchair accessible. It pairs naturally with the Monday 1pm meeting in the same room, so between the two there is a lunchtime option in Wythenshawe twice a week. The group does not meet on Bank Holidays, which occasionally affects Thursdays around Christmas and Easter.
Is this meeting only for AA members?
No. Come and Go is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including partners, relatives, friends and professionals, as well as anyone wondering whether AA might help them.
What does it cost and how do I sign up?
It is free and there is no signing up. Arrive at Wythenshawe Forum Library shortly before 1.30pm on Thursday and make your way to Room 1 on the first floor.
Is the venue accessible, and are there weeks it doesn't run?
The library is wheelchair accessible. The meeting does not take place on Bank Holidays.
