First Middlewich

First Middlewich meets on Tuesday evenings at 8pm at St Mary's RC Church on King Street, in the heart of Middlewich, and runs for an hour and a half. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so the room welcomes anyone: people who want to stop drinking, husbands, wives, parents and friends trying to understand the illness, and professionals who work with people affected by alcohol. For a smaller Cheshire town, having an open meeting like this on the doorstep saves a trip to Crewe or Northwich. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is nothing to pay and nothing to book, and if you would rather sit at the back and listen, that is perfectly fine.
