West Heath

West Heath's Friday lunchtime meeting runs from midday to 1pm at West Heath Community Centre on Condover Road, in south Birmingham. At a single hour it is one of the shorter AA meetings locally, which can make it easier to fit into a lunch break or between commitments. It is a closed meeting, so it is intended for people who have a desire to stop drinking, or who think they may have; it is not a meeting for observers, but newcomers worried about their drinking are welcome. There is no cost and no booking; people simply arrive. The community centre is wheelchair accessible, and the same group's Friday evening meeting takes place at St John Fisher RC Church nearby.
