Birmingham Longbridge Morning

For anyone in south-west Birmingham who needs a daytime option, Longbridge Morning meets on Wednesdays at 11am at Longbridge Methodist Church, 1648-54 Bristol Road South. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and is open, so anyone may attend: people with a desire to stop drinking, plus relatives, friends and professionals wanting to see AA at work. Morning meetings suit shift workers, retired people and parents free during school hours, and they offer a quieter alternative to busy evening groups. The church is listed as wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking, and if Wednesday mornings do not suit, the same venue hosts a Sunday evening meeting as well.
