Margate Just For Today

For those who like to sort the day out before it starts, Margate Just For Today meets at 7am on Thursdays at St Johns Community Centre on Victoria Road, finishing within the hour so working people can get on. The name comes from AA's practice of staying sober one day at a time. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking; newcomers absolutely count, but family and friends should attend one of the open meetings held at the same centre later in the week. There is no charge and no booking; just turn up before 7am. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this early meeting.
