Lowestoft Experience, Strength & Hope

Experience, Strength & Hope is Lowestoft's Monday night AA meeting, held at the United Reformed Church on London Road North from 7pm for an hour. The name comes from AA's description of what members share with each other, and the meeting has a straightforward sharing format: people speak in turn about their own recovery, and no one is ever obliged to say a word. It is an open meeting, so family, friends and anyone curious about AA are welcome alongside those with a desire to stop drinking. The church is on Lowestoft's main shopping street and is wheelchair accessible. Attendance is free, with no booking, referral or membership needed.
