The Format of the Meeting is a Just for Today Reading Main Share and General Share Back. There will be an Occasional Experience, Strength & Hope Main Share.
The 5th Tradition group meets every Thursday evening in the Glamis Room at Menzieshill Community Centre, on Dickson Avenue in the west of Dundee. Starting at 19:45 and running just over an hour, this Narcotics Anonymous meeting follows a clear format: a Just for Today reading, a main share, then a general share back, with an occasional experience, strength and hope main share along the way. It's an open meeting, so newcomers, family and friends are all welcome, and children are welcome too. There is parking available at the venue. Please note the community centre is unavailable on public holidays, so check the calendar around bank holidays. This is a share and speaker meeting, and pets aren't permitted.
Who can come to this meeting?
Anyone with a desire to stop using drugs is welcome, and because this is an open meeting, family, friends and interested professionals may attend too. Children are welcome. If you're new, just turn up on the night.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
No booking is needed and there is no charge. NA is free to attend. A basket is passed for voluntary contributions to cover costs like room hire, but you never have to give anything, especially at your first meeting.
What are the practical details for the venue?
The meeting is held in the Glamis Room at Menzieshill Community Centre, 260 Dickson Avenue, DD2 4TQ. Parking is available on site. The centre is unavailable on public holidays, so check before travelling on a bank holiday.
