Killingworth

Killingworth meets on Saturday evenings at 6pm in St John's Church Hall, West Lane, Killingworth Village, and lasts about an hour and a half. The format is chair and share, with an opening share from one member followed by a ten-minute break and then open sharing from the floor. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so anyone with an interest, including friends, family and professionals, is welcome alongside those with a desire to stop drinking. A chit is available for anyone needing proof of attendance for court, probation or a treatment programme. The church hall is wheelchair accessible, and there is no charge to attend and no need to book beforehand.
