Cwmbran Big Book

Cwmbran Big Book is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held every Tuesday at 8pm at Pontrhydyrun Community Centre on Pontrhydyrun Road, and it runs for about an hour. The group reads from and discusses the AA Big Book, and being open, it is available to anyone, not only members with a desire to stop drinking, so family, friends and professionals are equally welcome. The community centre is wheelchair accessible, and the group runs a chit system, meaning a signed attendance slip can be provided to members who need evidence of attendance for court, probation or a treatment programme. Cwmbran, a new town in Torfaen, has a strong AA presence, and this Tuesday meeting is a well-established part of that.
