Highnam Beginners

Highnam Beginners meets every Tuesday at 7.15pm in the Old School Room at Highnam Community Centre Trust on Newent Road, just west of Gloucester, and lasts an hour and 15 minutes. As the name suggests, it is aimed at people early in their recovery from drinking, though it is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends or professionals. The pace and content tend to suit those newer to AA, with an emphasis on the basics of the programme rather than more advanced step work. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge to attend and no need to book, you can simply arrive shortly before 7.15pm.
