Newchurch Big Book

Newchurch Big Book meets on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at Needwood Jubilee Hall on Yoxall Road in Newchurch, near Burton upon Trent, and runs for an hour and a half. It is a closed meeting, kept for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the wider public, and it operates a chit system, so those who need a signed attendance slip for court, probation or treatment can ask at the meeting. The hall is wheelchair accessible. As the name suggests, the group works through the Big Book together, giving this rural corner of Staffordshire a dedicated study meeting alongside the Sunday reflections group held in the same hall.
