Barrowford

The Barrowford group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Thursday evenings at 7pm at Holmfield House on Gisburn Road, in the village of Barrowford just outside Nelson. The meeting runs for an hour and a half and is a closed meeting, which means it is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking, or who are starting to question what alcohol is doing to their lives. Family members and friends looking to support someone are encouraged to find an open meeting nearby. Holmfield House is listed as wheelchair accessible. Attending costs nothing and there is no registration of any kind; you can arrive unannounced and will be made welcome.
