Stockton Recovery Hub meets on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm at Stockton Parish Church on the High Street, right in the middle of Stockton-on-Tees. The hour-long session is a closed AA meeting, which is nothing to do with the doors being locked: it simply means the meeting is reserved for people who have, or wonder whether they have, a desire to stop drinking. Anyone coming along to support a relative or in a professional capacity is asked to find an open meeting instead. The church is wheelchair accessible. As with all of Alcoholics Anonymous, there is no fee, no membership form and no booking; you can walk in off the High Street a few minutes before 7.30pm and take a seat.
