Windsor Big Book Step combines the two mainstays of AA literature study, working with the Big Book and the Twelve Steps, over a full hour and a half on Thursday evenings. The meeting starts at 7.45pm at All Saints Dedworth Church on Dedworth Road, on the western side of Windsor. It is a closed meeting, which means it is reserved for people who have, or think they may have, a desire to stop drinking; there is no other requirement, no paperwork and no pressure to speak. Attendance is free and nothing needs to be booked. If you are new to Alcoholics Anonymous, a literature meeting like this is a solid way to learn how the programme is worked.
What does a Big Book Step meeting involve?
