The Format of the Meeting Week 1 - Experience, Strength & Hope Main Chair Week 2 - Just for Today Reading Week 3 - Round Robin Fellows Bringing Children, Please Can they be Supervised and Wearing Headphones.
Super Sunday is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting that rounds off the week at The Clean Plate on Southgate Street in central Gloucester. It runs every Sunday from 18:00 for an hour, and the format rotates so no two weeks feel the same: week one is an experience, strength and hope share led from the main chair, week two centres on a Just For Today reading, and week three is a round robin where everyone gets a turn to speak. Speaker and discussion elements sit alongside the book study, so there's room to listen or contribute. This is an open meeting, so newcomers and visitors are welcome. Children and pets are welcome too; if you bring children, please keep them supervised and wearing headphones.
Who can come to this meeting?
Anyone can attend. It's an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so alongside people with a desire to stop using drugs, family, friends and interested visitors are welcome. Children and pets are welcome as well; children should be supervised and wearing headphones during the meeting.
Do I need to book, and is there a charge?
There's no booking and no charge. NA meetings are free to attend; you simply turn up at The Clean Plate for the 18:00 start. A voluntary collection may be passed round to cover costs, but you're never obliged to give.
What happens each week?
The format rotates. Week one is an experience, strength and hope share from the main chair, week two is a Just For Today reading, and week three is a round robin. Speaker and discussion time features throughout, so you can listen or share as you feel comfortable.
