Stamford Share is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at the Beanfield Community Centre on Beanfield Avenue in Corby. The meeting runs for a generous hour and a half, built around members sharing their experience of getting and staying sober, and because it is open, anyone may sit in, including family, friends, students and professionals who want to understand how AA works. If you are new, nobody will ask you to speak; listening is entirely acceptable. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. Like every AA meeting it is free to attend, with no booking, referral or membership requirement beyond AA's own: the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
