Wheelchair Accessible. This is a relatively new meeting, that has been started within the past 6 months.
The Roe Group of NA gathers on Thursday evenings in Limavady, meeting at LCDI inside the Limavady Health Centre on Scroggy Road, Co. Derry. Starting at 8pm and running for around an hour and a half, this is a speaker meeting, where a member shares their experience of recovery at length before others have a chance to relate. It's a relatively new group, established within the past six months, so you'll be joining as it finds its feet, which can be a good time to help shape a meeting. Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who support one another in staying clean, one day at a time. If Thursday nights suit and you want to hear recovery spoken about honestly, you're welcome here.
Can I come along if I've never been to a meeting before?
Yes. This is a closed meeting, which means it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. Newcomers are welcome, so if that describes you, come along. You don't need to speak or share anything until you're ready.
Do I need to book, and is there a charge?
No booking is needed and there's no cost to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation is passed round to cover expenses like the room, but you're never obliged to give anything.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The group has noted that the venue is wheelchair accessible. It's held at LCDI within Limavady Health Centre on Scroggy Road. If you have specific access needs, it's worth reaching out ahead of time to confirm the details that matter to you.
