Participants are encouraged to bring their big books. We read a chapter of the book before sharing.
This Saturday-morning study group meets at 9.30am at the Salvation Army Community Hall on Queen Street in Penzance, working through the Big Book chapter by chapter: a chapter is read aloud before members share on it. Participants are encouraged to bring their own copies of the book. The meeting lasts an hour and a half and is open, so family, friends and professionals are welcome alongside anyone with a desire to stop drinking. The hall is wheelchair accessible, and the group can sign attendance slips for court, probation or treatment purposes. As with every AA meeting there is no charge and no booking; just come along for half past nine.
