Strictly no dogs except service dogs.
Designed with newcomers in mind, Bournemouth Beginners meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm at The Night Shelter, 10 St Paul's Lane, and lasts one hour. If you are nervous about your first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, a beginners' group like this is a gentle way in, and because it is an open meeting you can bring a friend or family member with you; professionals are welcome too. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Note that dogs are not allowed, with the exception of service dogs. The group operates a chit system, so if you need an attendance slip signed for court, probation or a treatment programme, just ask. It is free, there is no booking, and you will not be made to speak if you would rather listen.
