No dogs (except Guide/Assist dogs)
Padstow's Lunchtime Big Book meeting runs on Tuesdays from 12 noon to 1pm at the Padstow Church Rooms on Church Street. The hour is spent with Alcoholics Anonymous, known to members as the Big Book, reading and discussing the text that underpins the AA programme. It is an open meeting: anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome, and so are family, friends and professionals. The rooms are wheelchair accessible. Dogs are not allowed, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs. If you need attendance confirmed for court, probation or treatment, the group operates a chit system and can sign a slip for you. There is no charge and no need to book; just come along for midday.
