Liskeard Recovery – A Woman’s Perspective

A Woman's Perspective meets on Thursdays at The New Room, 3-5 West Street in Liskeard. Doors open from 6pm, the meeting starts at 6.30pm, and it lasts an hour. As the name suggests, the meeting approaches recovery from a woman's perspective, though it is registered as an open meeting, so attendance is not restricted; anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome, as are supporters and professionals. Arriving in the half hour before the start gives time to settle in, which many newcomers find easier than walking into a room already underway. The New Room is wheelchair accessible, and as with all AA meetings there is nothing to pay and no booking.
