Every Monday at 7.30pm, Liskerrett Community Centre on Varley Lane hosts Liskeard's Big Book meeting, held in the room located in the dance studio and running for an hour and a half. Big Book meetings centre on Alcoholics Anonymous, the book that gave the fellowship its name, reading and discussing how its programme applies to daily life. It is an open meeting: alongside those with a desire to stop drinking, family, friends and professionals may attend. You do not need to own the book, know anything about AA, or say a word if you would rather not. Access for wheelchair users has not been confirmed at this venue. Attendance is free and no booking is needed.
Do I need my own Big Book to join the study?
No. You can attend without owning the book or knowing anything about AA, and you are free to just listen.
Who can attend the Monday Big Book meeting?
