Cippenham

Cippenham's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place on Monday evenings at 8pm at Cippenham Baptist Church on Elmshott Lane, on the western side of Slough. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking; nobody needs a diagnosis or a rock bottom to qualify, just that desire, however new. The meeting lasts an hour and the church is wheelchair accessible. A chit system operates, so if you need attendance confirmed for court, probation or a treatment programme, a slip can be signed by the secretary. Starting the week with a Monday night meeting is a habit many members swear by.
