Brighton Women’s Big Book

Brighton Women's Big Book is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting built around study of the Big Book, AA's core text. It meets on Thursday mornings at 10am in the Roof Room of the Brighthelm Centre on North Road in Brighton and lasts an hour. The meeting is open, so anyone may attend: women who want to stop drinking, but also relatives, friends and professionals who would like to see the programme in action. The Brighthelm Centre is wheelchair accessible. Attendance is free with no need to book, and the group operates a chit system, meaning a slip can be signed as evidence of attendance for court, probation or treatment purposes.
