Erdington

Erdington's AA group meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at Erdington URC Church on Holly Lane in Birmingham, settling in for an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, so the door is as wide as it sounds: people who want to stop drinking, people already sober, and family, friends or professionals who want to understand the fellowship are all welcome. First-timers are not asked to speak, introduce themselves or fill anything in; arriving and listening counts as attending. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost and no booking system. AA has no fees or dues, and meetings are self-supporting through voluntary contributions members choose to make, so nobody will ever ask you for money to attend.
