Southam Step

Southam Step is the Friday night Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Southam Congregational Church on Wood Street, CV47 1PP, starting at 8pm and lasting an hour. As a step meeting it works through the Twelve Steps, the core of the AA programme, one theme at a time, which gives newcomers a clear thread to follow and old hands a regular refresher. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is for people who have, or think they may have, a desire to stop drinking rather than for supporters or observers. The church has wheelchair access. Nothing needs to be paid, booked or arranged; if Friday nights have been the hardest ones, this is a place to spend them differently.
