Islington Angel Speaker

Islington Angel Speaker meets on Tuesdays at 7pm at St Silas Church, on the corner of Penton Street and Risinghill Street, a short walk from Angel, and lasts an hour. As a speaker meeting, one member tells their story of drinking and recovery, which makes it a gentle first meeting: you can simply sit and listen. It is open to everyone, members or not, including family, friends and professionals. A chit system operates for anyone needing signed evidence of attendance for court, probation or treatment. There is no cost and no booking. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed at this venue, so check locally if step-free entry is essential.
