Finglas Wftra Group, an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Dublin 11, runs every Tuesday at 6pm. It meets at WFTRA Community Centre, on Mellows Road. It adds to the spread of AA meetings across Dublin 11. As with any closed meeting, it is set aside for those who have a desire to stop drinking, not for outside visitors. No other qualification is needed beyond a wish to stop drinking, which is the sole basis for membership. It runs on a drop-in basis, so no booking is required. It follows the same broad pattern as other AA meetings, built around members supporting one another.
Who can come along?
Attendance is limited to people who share a desire to stop drinking, since this is a closed meeting rather than one open to the wider community.
Is there a cost, and do I need to book?
There is no cost and no need to book. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are free to attend, so you can simply arrive at WFTRA Community Centre in good time for the 6pm start on Tuesday.
Is WFTRA Community Centre wheelchair accessible?
Wheelchair access at WFTRA Community Centre has not been confirmed, so it is worth checking with the group beforehand if this matters to you.
