Speaker mtg 1st week / Basic Text Lit. mtg remaining weeks of the month.
This Narcotics Anonymous group meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm in Lisburn, gathering at the Bridge Community Centre on Railway Street. Meetings run for about an hour and follow a monthly rhythm: the first week of each month is a speaker meeting, where a member shares their experience of recovery, while the remaining weeks are Basic Text literature meetings, where the group reads and discusses NA's foundational writings. It's a members' meeting, which means it's held for people who share a desire to stop using drugs. If you're finding your way in early recovery, or coming back after a while away, you'll find a straightforward, welcoming room here in the heart of Co. Antrim.
Who can come to this meeting?
This is a closed meeting, meaning it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. If that's you, you're welcome. Closed simply refers to who attends, not whether the doors are open, and there's no need to have any time clean before coming along.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. NA meetings are free to attend and there's no booking. Just turn up at the Bridge Community Centre on Wednesday for 7pm. A voluntary collection may be passed to cover costs like room hire, but you're never obliged to give.
What's the difference between the speaker and literature meetings?
The first Wednesday of each month is a speaker meeting, where a member shares their story of recovery. The other Wednesdays are Basic Text literature meetings, where the group reads from and discusses NA's core book together.
